PL-AIDS Sponsors World AIDS Day Celebration

The PL-AIDS Project is co-sponsoring a series of events on the campus of Brown University and University of Rhode Island for World AIDS Day to enhance awareness surrounding HIV/AIDS.
HIV/AIDS Awareness Event Schedule:
•Free rapid HIV antibody testing: November 30, 2010 from 10 AM to 4 PM in the LGBTQ Resource Center in Faunce House at Brown University (Courtesy of Brown University Health Services).
•Screening of And the Band Played On, a 1993 film about the HIV/AIDS epidemic: December 1, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM in Petteruti Lounge in Faunce House, 75 Waterman Street, Providence, Rhode Island
•Screening of Reflections by 17-year-old Keyanna Ray: December 1, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at University of Rhode Island-Downtown, PAFF Auditorium, 80 Washington Street, Providence, Rhode Island
•Isis Storm World AIDS Day Performance: December 1, 2010 from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Solomon 001 on the Main Green of Brown University
